On Wednesday 9th November, Katrina Maaka, our Pepi Mokopuna Nurse had the pleasure of introducing a Dental Educator (specialist from Lakes DHB) to whānau, kaiako me ngā tamariki i roto i Te Puna Reo o Waione, Te Kohanga Reo ki Ohau me Puawai Early Learning Centre.

Pinenga Te Are, delivered her dental program presentation to all three centres which of course had a focus on oral care, brushing teeth, how often that should happen, healthy kai and shared waiata all about brushing teeth.

The tamariki at Puawai demonstrated the tooth brushing program they had implemented in their centre, which Pinenga was delighted to bear witness to.
